O-ring mounted stationaries are preferred for their versatility in elastomer selection, as well as higher operating limits in housings with higher manufacturing tolerances.

 

For the OG and W seats, the o-ring is centrally contained within the seat section. The rear makes direct contact

with the base of the housing recess, providing better heat transfer and dissipation. Provision for an anti- rotation pin is included via a rear slot, intended for use in specialised or viscous fluid applications.

OG Seats suit imperial housing dimensions for the US market. It is commonly offered in higher-duty seals designed by US manufacturers e.g. Type 8-1 (H8U) and Type 8B1 (H8B). It is fully interchangeable with CM Seats
