LKH-SS replaces the single mechanical seals found in Alfa Laval® LKH hygienic centrifugal pumps.

 

The seal is front-loaded, with spring compression distance pre-set once impeller is reinstalled. A pin in the drive ring (available separately) engages with a notch in the rotary face.

 

The left-hand threaded stationary is screwed into the backplate in an anti-clockwise direction and requires a special tool (not included). Rotate clockwise during disassembly.
