LKH-DMSS replaces the double mechanical seals found in Alfa Laval® LKH hygienic centrifugal pumps.

 

The seal is front-loaded, with spring compression distance pre-set once impeller is reinstalled. The middle drive ring (not included) engages with notches in both rotary faces.

 

The left-hand threaded stationary is screwed into the backplate in an anti-clockwise direction and requires a special tool (not included). During disassembly, rotate clockwise.
