HWB2 is a mechanical seal designed to be mounted externally, such that no metal parts are in contact with the process fluid. This makes it ideal for use with highly acidic or chemically corrosive media.

 

The bellows is extended to allow a two-piece split clamp to tighten and drive the rotary.

 

The seal is based on the historical "WB2" design, running against industry standard "V" clamped seat. It can also run against many other standardised seats.
