HV2 replaces the balanced rotary face used in APV® V² centrifugal pumps. Based on Crepaco's "V²" range prior to acquisition.

 

HV2 only contains the rotary face (B) and o-ring (A) and excludes the drive ring & spring. It is therefore used in the following OEM seal type arrangements:

 

Type 1 - Rotary face runs directly against the backplate.

 

Type 2 - Same as Type 1, but backplate uses a replaceable Insert.

 

Type 5 - Same as Type 2, but has additional secondary seal to contain water flush.

For pumps with a standard Type 1 arrangement where the backplate has deteriorated beyond use, it can be machined out to accommodate a replaceable cup-mounted stationary.
