HU3 is designed to comply with DIN EN 12756, except in fitting length.  It is based on the industry standard "Type 3" design, a conical spring-driven mechanical seal for metric shafts.

 

The spring provides both axial and rotational force being tightly wound in the direction of the rotating shaft.

 

Left or right-hand winding springs must be specified.

 

L1k can be achieved for sizes ≤16mm with a spacer (Sp.). For sizes between 18mm - 32mm a spacer can be used or a longer "3K" spring. For sizes >32mm the "3K" spring is shorter.

 

An optional "U.C.L." seat is available with an extended tail and anti-rotation pin slot.
