HU2 is designed to comply with DIN EN 12756, except in fitting length. It is based on the industry standard "Type 2" design, a conical spring-driven mechanical seal for metric shafts.

 

The spring provides both axial and rotational force being tightly wound in the direction of the rotating shaft.  Left or right-hand winding springs must be specified.

 

L1k can be achieved for sizes <32mm with either a spacer (Sp.), or longer "2K" spring. For sizes >32mm the "2K" spring is shorter.

 

An optional "U.C.L." seat is available with an extended tail and anti-rotation pin slot.

 

Additional non-standard options are available on request, including:

 - "2K" Spring to L1k Suffix "K"

 - "R2" Spring from HR2 Suffix "LRO2"
