HR2 is a conical spring-driven mechanical seal for metric shafts, based on the industry standard "Type 2" design. It is commonly found in pumps of Italian origin.

 

The spring provides both axial and rotational force being tightly wound in the direction of the rotating shaft.  Left or right-hand winding springs must be specified.

 

An optional "R.C.L." seat is available with an extended tail and anti-rotation pin slot.

 

Additional non-standard options are available on request, including:
