HGSL3 replaces the mechanical seals fitted to Grundfos S pumps (formerly Sarlin) ranges 34, 42 & 46 with motor sizes < 8 kW.

 

The double seal design relies on a slotted rotary that is lapped on both sides. It is pinned to the shaft via a slot, providing torque transmission.
