HGSD replaces the Type "A-" code component seals typically fitted to older Grundfos CH - Horizontal Multistage pumps.

 

The unbalanced o-ring design features a rigid torque transmission design specifically for hard-face material pairings. Shaft and seal dimensions were made according to DIN 24960.

 

The spring cap has female "slots" that lock into a pump's rotational element.
