HGCR replaces the Type "H-" code cartridge seals fitted to Grundfos CR - Vertical Multistage pumps.

 

The cartridge design, originally introduced into CR pumps produced after 2000, features a balanced o-ring design and since 2004, all seal ring materials are supplied in SiC.

  • General installation

Shaft seal replacement in Grundfos CR pumps requires prior:

      - removal of coupling & guards

      - removal of motor & bolts.

Available in three sizes.

 

The 12mm & 16mm seal are designed for the CR "Small" and "Medium" pump ranges. The seal housing features a  threaded design for a screw-fit installation using the hex-nut. Only the 16mm seal requires use of a spacer (supplied) to ensure proper alignment.

 

The 22mm seal is designed for the CR "Large" pump range. The seal requires use of a spacer (supplied) and is simply plugged-in to install.
