PARTS

H82/JBHL3 replaces the single mechanical seal face kit fitted to Jabsco Hy-Line LH3 Series Hygienic Rotary Lobe pumps. Seals face are front-loaded with pre-set fitting lengths, allowing installation without removal of the rotor case.

 

H82/JBHL3 includes OEM elastomer "trim kit" and as well as wave spring.

 

Each pump requires two identical seals, one for each shaft.

  • Material options

Available in three face material combinations, indicated by the 7th position number in the pump’s code:

 

Code 8: CAB/316SS

Suitable for most general applications. Anti-rotation pins allows use in higher viscosity products.

 

Code 3: CAB/SiC

Alternative longer seal-life, especially in dry-running or steam sterilisation applications.

 

Code 2: SiC/SiC

Hard seal faces for abrasive fluids or where shedding of particles into fluid stream must be avoided. Not suitable for CIP steam-purging as seal faces can bind together.

 

Elastomers: NBR, Viton or EPDM

  • Flushed Seal

Parts are also used in flushed seal configuration. Codes: 9, 5 & 7. Flush seal only parts (i.e. lip seal) excluded.
