H8-2 is a mechanical seal based on the industry standard "Type 8B2". It is designed to be mounted externally, such that no metal parts are in contact with the process fluid. This makes it ideal for use with highly acidic or chemically corrosive media. The rotary may be run against different sized clamped seats specific to each manufacturer.
