H68 is stationary mounted and press-fitted into the pump housing. The face of the seal tracks against either the back of the pump’s impeller or a seat which is mounted on and rotates with the shaft.
It is recommended for high speed rotation and since it is non-shaft sealing, shaft material and surface finishing is not critical.
