H2UK is a mechanical seal for imperial shafts, based on the historical industry "Type 2UK" design. It uses the same components as H2US, but on certain sizes an additional spacer is needed to achieve the correct working length.

 

A rubber diaphragm is secured to the shaft with a drive band, which serves as both a secondary seal and positive torque transmission.

 

Mechanical compression on the spring is typically delivered by a shoulder in the shaft / sleeve or setting collar (available separately).
