H103U is a JB/T 1472 compliant unbalanced mechanical seal for metric shafts, based on the Chinese Machinery Industry Standard "Type 103".

 

A right-hand wound parallel spring is legged 90° axially at the end coil ("AX" Spring), slotting into a collar which drives the seal (*excluded*). Due to coil direction, it is only usable for clockwise-rotating shafts.

 

An alternative ("PD" Spring) is available which is legged 90° perpendicularly, for other drive collars.

 

The seal faces are available standard with solid (monolithic) faces. Alternative shrink-fitted faces are available.
