What began as manufacturing of spare parts, led to fully finished pump units for the oil industry specifically to suit the local technical requirements. In 1947 the name was changed from Ebsary to Ebsray to avoid confusion. In 2013 the company was acquired by PSG, part of the Dover Corporation
